Hello there @martinrotter , feel free to have a look at this when you have some free time since you already have been kind enough to provide a solution for what I will ask
Lately I have been experimenting on building a yt channel video metadata history to a feed file and importing that to a feed using the Local File as the source, with enough trial and error it ended up working shockingly well. I seen by some of the tickets that you were understandably a bit frustrated that some users couldn't be bothered to read the incompatibility warning between versions and believe me I get it, I've been frustrated when writing tutorials for much much simpler things (But I hope you know the migration feature was highly appreciated)
So to cut it short, I've just been wondering if something like "Export feed to a Local File" would have been feasible as a migration strategy? Maybe for the future if another major DB rewrite happens or better yet, maybe as a backup feature since they are basically text files and occupy practically no space, I imagine a entire year's backup even on an account loaded with articles would weight a couple of MBs when zipped? So maybe if the user's DB file is getting bloated and slowing the day to day browsing a bit or if they want to start fresh, they would still have those feed backups
I doubt is as simple as it sounds on paper and thankfully you already provided the migration feature, I just had to ask you these things because to me it feels like some sort of sorcery having these files weighing around 1MB and being able to import 1k+ articles from it :D
