I use this tool frequently on Windows and would love to have it available for linux (debian)

Since this is not a .NET Core application it cannot be compiled on Linux.
However, you can try to execute it with Wine. It might work.

Anyway, for Debian there are a bunch of color pickers to choose from:

• Colorpicker
• Eyedropper
• Gcolor3

It is using Windows API for getting a color, so I don't think it will work on Linux

Someone on Reddit said that Just Color Picker works with Wine. So ColorPicker might work :)
