Feature Request: Interpolate line color between points

It would be awesome if the data series could include color indicators and the line would interpolate from one color to the other as it goes from point to point.

In my particular example, I have percentages (0 to 1) and would love it if I could indicate the line color for each value of the scale.

For example
given the following definition
0 to 0.5 Green
0.51 to 0.70 Orange
0.71 to 1 Red

would be awesome if the line could change color based on the actual value of the control point.

I use canvas to render the sparkline, and it doesn't support gradients in lines easily. What you describe is possible with svg, and I've for that in other projects so I know it works. But, that would require rewriting the entire library to use svg instead of canvas. It might be a good idea, but it's a lot of work and I don't really have the time to do it. It might be a good idea to do it as a separate sparkline library instead of changing this one.
