How to activate the extension?

Apologies if this is not the right place to get support, but I've installed the extension, turned off any other extensions that provide ERB support, and then opened an ERB file. Cursor opens the file as plain text and Herb doesn't seem to activate.
Am I missing a configuration step of some kind?

Hey @stoem, thanks for opening an issue!

I think there might be an issue if there is no "ERB" language type available. The Herb extension currently doesn't ship one which might explain why Cursor then also doesn't active the extension for that file (since there is no ERB file type available).

For now, I'd recommend keeping the Ruby LSP enabled and active, since that one provides an ERB language/file type and ERB syntax highlighting.

I did not, but after reading this issue I do! And that did fix it. I just wanted to add another example of someone running into this.

Okay sweet, I wasn't sure if that's the root cause of this issue, but it seems like it is!

I think we either need to ship our own ERB grammar/filetype or make our extension depend on Ruby LSP to make sure it's always available.
