we know of a number of websites that use this module in production, however it is your responsibility to perform suitable code review to assure yourself of security in your particular context.

As Jon said: this is an open source module, provided as it is.
It was developed during several Magento Hackathons. Please make sure it meets your needs (functionality and security wise) before using it.
We are also always happy for Pull Requests if you find bugs or want to improve it.

@avoelkl @jonpday thanks for getting back I will do my best to help with finding bugs and trying to create new features.
Still have a question about the feature Two-factor-Authentication for the Customer: is that already in the master branch or still only in FTA_Customer ?
I ask because Admin login works but Customer not! Ok I see that is already merged hmm.

As you can see form the newtork graph the TFA_Customer is not yet merged back to the master branch.

If you want you can try to merge it on your own and if it works, we're happy about a pull request :-)
