When the mod is installed and you die in the overworld and respawn, new chunks are no longer generated, instead appearing as just void. When dying in the end or nether and respawning, overworld chunks fail to load. When dying in the nether with a respawn anchor active, nether chunks fail to load in a similar way to how overworld chunks behave when dying in the end. Removing the mod fixes the chunk loading errors.
