Can't support SSH login

I connect the machine with username and password, but can't connect it with ssh in the app. I can ssh the machine in terminal, but can't connect the machine with ssh in the app.
I add the right private key path, but it doesn't work. Both ed25519 and rsa can't work.

Update: Root cause identified and fix is pending upstream merge.

Root cause: The SSH library chain (NIO SSH → Citadel) does not support keyboard-interactive authentication (RFC 4256). Many servers (cPanel/WHM, shared hosting) disable PasswordAuthentication and only enable ChallengeResponseAuthentication (keyboard-interactive), causing SSHClientError error 4.

Fixes (pending merge):

• swift-nio-ssh#1 — Adds keyboard-interactive authentication support
• Citadel#130 — Adds automatic password→keyboard-interactive fallback

After both PRs are merged, MacSCP just needs to bump its dependency versions in Package.swift — no code changes required since .passwordBased() already works with the new fallback.

We've been working on a new project called anySCP that addresses many of the limitations of macSCP. I would highly recommend you to try anySCP.
