AGENTS.md states the architectural invariants three times — single-source them #630

Description

@macanderson

AGENTS.md:92 — the architectural invariants are stated three times in the same document.

Triplicated normative prose drifts. When it does, there is no way to tell which copy is authoritative, and the failure is silent: a reader follows the copy they found first. This is the document every agent and contributor is told to read, which makes it the worst place in the repo for three versions of one rule.

The original audit fix declined this as "an editorial decision with real review consequences, not a cleanup" — correct, which is why it belongs to the owner rather than a batch PR.

  • Collapse to one statement of the invariants, with the other two sites either deleted or reduced to a pointer.

Acceptance: rg for the invariant text returns one normative occurrence.

Triaged out of #622 (row 9) as worth doing.
