Create a page showing the wall

I started working on this.

So far, have got a basic board page loading using node.js - just loads the static HTML page. We also have basic cucumber and jasmine tests.

Next steps:

• include a css file on board.html via the node server
• style the html to look like a board
• either:
  -- extend the static board.html file to include the ALE sessions, or
  -- write javascript to build the board html (initially from a static list)

Hi Jo, I've got this working now - great start, and thank you so much for getting me kicked off with Javascript finally!

The ALE 2011 sessions are photographed here: http://agileinc.files.wordpress.com/2011/09/p1080216.jpg (thanks Agile Inc.) - I'd quite like to see this with realistic data, and am happy to help with the styling. Still on the learning curve for Javascript, but either way, static or served, works for me.

I got fed up of creating the HTML for the sessions and decided to work on getting the javascript to generate them instead - still coming from a static json file but it will be easier to update than the HTML at least. I've made pretty good progress on that but not yet checked in - will add at least some of the ALE sessions to that, hopefully this week.

I would really appreciate more input & help on the styling, haven't got any ideas for the UI really beyond sticking it in a grid.

A list of lists is probably better than a grid. If we can sort it by timeslot first, then by room, it'll be easier to put the breaks in later I think.

My CSS isn't bad, so as soon as there's some HTML up on the page I'll be able to do something with it. Thank you!

Hi Jo, have you seen Darren's latest shenanigans? He's ported your work to express.js, which I understand is a little web server that does quite a lot of the work you're doing already.

Would you be interested / mind if we pulled his request in? It blats a lot of your work - sorry! - but I think it will give us a smoother platform to work on once things start getting complicated.

I saw his checkin but haven't had time this week to work on anything although I did have a look at expressjs on the interwebz.

Please go ahead and pull it in, I think it'll save more work later.
