The current state is based on a fixed libiec61850 version and it by now will miss the updates.
Using directly libiec61850 is impossible without the changes introduced here. This way, solutions like Git submodules won't work.
Perhaps an alternative is to use Git subtrees, eventually merging that upstream changes in libiec61850.
