Jemm386 Exception 06

I'm trying to get this to load on an old Dell Vostro All-in-One PC. It is a Intel Pentium. I'm getting the following error on boot:

I've disabled memory virtualization in the BIOS setup, to no avail. Any other ideas?

Sorry for the delay! I aten't dead.

386 memory management on modern computers is tricky, but the FREEDOS jemm386 tool is usually pretty good.

First idea: try a different one. Using Windows or Linux, just copy another 386 memory manager in there, and edit the \CONFIG.SYS file.

Remove the line that says:

device=c:\drivers\jemm\jemm386.exe frame=none ram

And insert your own.

I suggest the EMM386.EXE from Win98SE.
