In other words, think of each link submitted as a THING to be mastered that you could spend anywhere from 5 minutes reading to a month working through.
There are already a bunch of sites where people can upvote resources, but hearing that "Learn Python the Hard Way" is a useful python beginner book isn't helpful for someone who hears about it, but then never starts it.
