For the past couple of months, I've been wondering why the DHS site has had no detention data updates. I thought it might be due to ongoing actions at detention centers, however it appears that the government passed a new DHS appropriations act which afaict (via grepping for "data") it no longer has the requirement that they publish the data anymore: https://www.congress.gov/bill/119th-congress/house-bill/7147/text
Meaning that sadly, this project is dead unless we can come up with a bright idea (e.g. FOIA for the same data).
We should add a note to the site that this is the case.
