Menu "Places" items order becomes reversed after using search

Bug description

After using the search field in the Cinnamon menu, the order of items in the "Places" section becomes reversed.
The issue persists until Cinnamon is restarted.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open Cinnamon menu
2. Go to the "Places" section and note the normal order
3. Type anything into the menu search field
4. Clear the search
5. Open "Places" again

Expected behavior

The original order should remain unchanged after searching.

The same issue is also present in Fedora 41 and 42.

Workaround.
Restarting Cinnamon restores the correct order.
cinnamon --replace
or restarting the session.
