How to solve when the realization is not one of the expected scenarios?

I run the tool based on 10 expected scenarios and the tool works fine.
My question: what if I want to find the optimal solution and the realization is not one of the expected scenarios? Or this tool is only limited to the case where the realization should be one of the expected scenarios.
