context menus refuse to stay open when put into lmms

Any and all context menus in Element open and then close themselves
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Open vestige
2. Load in Element
3. right click on Graph I/O menu or any context menu
4. See the menu open up and then immediately close itself.

Expected behavior
A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen.
For the context menu to stay open.

• Version: 0.45.1 (64 bit)

More on issue #360 in LMMS using Element - it also affects all menus, even the node menu etc. So it is (almost?) impossible to delete node or select anything that needs a menu, or even any keyboard shortcuts (that I can tell).
For example, the only option to add plug-ins is drag-and-drop from the Plugins tab on the left hand side, but one cannot Replace, Duplicate, Remove etc.
