i run into a similar problem (also using blackhole to get the sound into element before sending it to my soundcard). btw. iam on 15.7.3 and changing elements buffersize doesent solve it. |

Could be a sample rate mismatch. Element's sample rate, and all other apps going through blackhole, need to be set to the same sample rate (I think). |

thanks, but i doubt thats the reason. it happens out of the blue even when listening a playlist via osx music app - so i dont change anything manually. will check it anyway. |

Hi all,
I've installed Element on macOS 15.4.1, using blackhole as a virtual sound device. My goal was to add two equalisers, one for left, one for right, to do a basic EQ of the sound out of my Mac mini.
It works. But every now and then the sound gets robotic for 1 or 2 seconds and then goes back to normal. It's like the mac is struggling with resources for a moment. I don't do anything heavy when that happens. It seems to happen every now and then.
The graph is simple: Audio in - AUGraphicEQ modules - Audio out.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
