Feature Request: custom guides?

Thank you for this project. I was wondering if there would be a way to import an xmltv file (EPG) along with a custom channel (M3U8)?

Basically, I want to import some of the au/nz feeds from i.mjh.nz with the guide data supplied there. I also have my own Gracenote guides for local channels that I would like to import because it gives more data than what is scraped from my HDHomeRun.

Alternatively, could this support custom playlists instead of just a custom channel?

sounds like a major feature... it'd take this into a m3u/xml manager project. i guess it kind of is already. i've certainly considered it - just not sure what it'd look like yet. will research more
