Adding any listitem

Would it be possible to add a feature that would allow adding any list-item url to shortlist? Currently things like adding a YouTube entry from a YT addon will not work (note that adding to favourites does).

Okay, its a bit more complicated than that, I had to modify the addon to support adding directory items after I did this. I'll make an MR later.

@krruzic Thank you, it works really great! Would it be possible to add a context menu for folder items inside an addon view or an addon itself? Currently the only option given is to Add/remove to/from favourites.

If you install from the zip file in my link you can do that, if you just modified the addon.xml you can't. There's one minor issue on my fork which is that you can add items from the list itself or even the list folder lol leading to recursion.

Sorry, I apologise if I'm ahijacking this issue, but I've installed the zip in this thread, and shortlist comes up in contact for addons, ie TMDBhelper, but it will not show information when I click on it, or play.
Although when I use the repo and install shortlist from there, it allows you to click into a movie to see info etc.
Although then I lose the ability to add to shortlist in addons.

Any help?

I maybe wrong, I usually am, but from the repo, it's classed as a VIDEO addon, but the zip it's classed as a PROGRAM, So maybe the issue lies there?

@adamosborne83 indeed, you need to replace "PROGRAM" by "VIDEO" to not have this behaviour

How can I do this? As the addon is in programs, so therefore will not play.
The only way around this I have found, it to make a widget in ah2 to then make it as video, so when I click it l, it plays, but, always a but, when it's in widget form it does not show info, and just scrapes straight into the movie.

update your file ZIP and then install Shortlist with this new ZIP file.

You are fabulous, thank you so much for this, works perfectly now with addons. Now if I can bother you for one more question, is there a way for it to show the meta info? See pictures below, I know when I go into it, it shows all the info, but would love it to be on the main screen.

Apologies, there does seem to be issues, see the new movies do not show any meta at all. Even when going into it. Its the same if its a movie in my library or movie from addon.
