Add some calibration plots

I'd like to add some calibration related plots.
Is it OK for you if we use ggplot2 to do the plots?

I’m a bit mixed on this one. I know how to use ggplot2. David Lucy hated “all that fancy new stuff” – is there anything specific from ggplot2 that is hard to replicate in base R? The code is easier to read and write in my sense.
I will try to do it in base R and let you know.
