Is any known pattern for having an instance registered in the container that needs to be created async?

For example, when a scope dependency needs to be created async, how well would be returning an instance in asFunction that was created elsewhere? Something like this:

async function createScope(container: AwilixContainer): Promise<AwilixContainer> {
  const dbClient = await container.resolve('dbPool').connect();
  const scope = container.createScope();
  scope.register('dbClient', asFunction(() => dbClient).dispose((dbClient) => dbClient.release()).scoped());
  return scope;
}

You can use asValue for this, everything else looks good.

Hi. Thanks for the answer. This is what I did originally:

scope.register('dbClient', createDisposableResolver(asValue(dbClient)).disposer((dbClient) => dbClient.release()));

because asValue doesn't have a disposer --at least not in the type that I could find.

Is that preferable?

Does the value gets "disposed" and so the db client released when do await scope.dispose()?
