Quake amalgamation DM map

Just kicking this idea around.. what if we took all 6 Quake1 DM levels and smooshed them together into a single, massive map? Minor amputations would probably have to be made to connect them (using the original map exits where possible, but other connections would be required for proper flow). But we could pack a ridiculous Quake nostalgia shot into one level if done well. This would also draw a ton of attention from the Quake community at large.

So.. the maps are all individually included in the game now, and they look quite good. Cistern and Bad Place were kind of quick ports that could maybe use a little attention, but all in all they are quite nice.

death32c only stitches together dm2, dm4 and dm6. It retextures dm6 in the same metal drab that dm2 uses, so that the two levels can flow together pretty seamlessly. But that means the dm4 parts stand out like a sore thumb.

For our amalgamation, ideally we combine [at least parts of] all 6, and keep their look and feel -- but perhaps with some funky world rot / bleed over at the seams. Like partially destroyed walls where their worlds collide. Sparks, broken railings, missing bricks, that kind of thing.
