Summary
If the Capture > Save folder is set to any directory with subfolders. AND Capture > Auto-clear History is set to anything other than "Never", when it clears the history it will delete every image in the designated folder and child folders.
For example: I set the Save Folder to "Downloads". In Downloads, I have many sub directories. I set Auto-clear history to 1 day. When it ran, it deleted every .png file in every sub directory as well as the designate Download directory.
I assumed the application was keeping a "history" of the files "It" created and would delete those. Not wildcard delete every image recursively throughout the folder structure. This resulted in permanent data loss.
Steps to reproduce
If the Capture > Save folder is set to any directory with subfolders. AND Capture > Auto-clear History is set to anything other than "Never", when it clears the history it will delete every image in the designated folder and child folders.
Expected behavior
- Auto-clear history should know what files it has created and Auto-clear history should only delete those files.
- Or a clear warning that it should have its own directory due to this behavior.
Actual behavior
If the Capture > Save folder is set to any directory with subfolders. AND Capture > Auto-clear History is set to anything other than "Never", when it clears the history it will delete every image in the designated folder and child folders.
