Xstream Player is released under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0. To keep the project's licensing flexible — including the possibility of offering it under different terms in the future — every contribution must be covered by this agreement.
By submitting a pull request, patch, or any other contribution to this project, you agree to the terms below.
- "Project" means Xstream Player and its associated repository.
- "Owner" means Janderson Lemos, the copyright holder and maintainer of the Project.
- "Contribution" means any original work of authorship — code, documentation, configuration, or other material — that you intentionally submit to the Project.
- "You" means the individual or legal entity making the Contribution.
You grant the Owner a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable copyright license to reproduce, prepare derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, sublicense, and distribute your Contribution and such derivative works, under any license terms the Owner chooses, including proprietary and commercial licenses.
You retain all right, title, and interest in your Contribution. This agreement is a license grant, not a transfer of ownership: you remain free to use your Contribution for any other purpose.
You grant the Owner and every recipient of the Project a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable patent license to make, have made, use, offer to sell, sell, import, and otherwise transfer your Contribution, covering only those patent claims licensable by you that are necessarily infringed by your Contribution alone or by its combination with the Project.
If any entity institutes patent litigation alleging that the Project or a Contribution constitutes patent infringement, the patent licenses granted under this agreement to that entity terminate as of the date such litigation is filed.
You represent that:
- Each Contribution is your original creation, and you have the legal right to grant the licenses above.
- If your employer has rights to intellectual property you create, you have received permission to make the Contribution on their behalf, or your employer has waived such rights.
- Your Contribution does not knowingly include third-party material that is incompatible with the licenses granted here. If it does include third-party material, you will identify it, along with its source and license, in your submission.
Contributions are provided on an "AS IS" basis, without warranties or conditions of any kind, express or implied.
Add the following line to the description of your pull request:
