Welcome! I just released agentlib and figured I'd introduce myself and kick off discussions with some context and an open invitation for users, AI enthusiasts, or anyone experimenting with LLMs and automation. I'd love to hear what you're working on.
I'm Jacob. About 20 years ago I started JacobsParts, an electronics ecommerce company, and I've been building all the software that runs it ever since. Some of the hardest and most interesting challenges involve dynamic pricing and advertising, which have led me down a rabbit hole of predictive modeling and more recently agentic AI.
When we were looking at crushing tariffs, I decided to drop everything and develop a new pricing system from the ground up. Agentlib was born out of practical necessity as part of a larger system. It has exceeded expectations and is solving problems that I have struggled with for a large part of my life. I wanted to share what I've been working on, and honestly I'm more excited by what the wider community is building.
So, I'd love to hear from you:
I'm especially interested in real-world stories, successes, lessons learned, and tales of the journey. Share as much technical detail or big picture thinking as you want.
Looking forward to hearing your experiences and connecting with others making meaningful use of AI!
Jacob
