Using https://iqtree.github.io/doc/Dating as our guide, we've been trying to use the IQ2MC workflow with iqtree3 for time tree inference with MCMCTree. Unfortunately, it's a little vague about how to add calibrations, just saying "using tree editing tools such as FigTree or iTOL". How would one add these calibrations in a way that is usable by iqtree3? For example, we have a fossil estimated to be 2.6 to 5.3 million years old and a clade with a secondary calibration date of 5.6-15.3 million years old.
We already have a rooted species tree generated, we just need to add the fossil and secondary calibration dates to it before we can proceed and are unsure how to do so.
