Is shapely library a good candidate to define the patterns?

As stated. I noticed that there is no specific module to define patterns in fmmax, can the shapely library a good choice?

Unfortunately, I don't have a specific library to recommend. If you find one that works well I would be interested to hear.

I noticed a demo from nannos, which use shapely library to define patterns, and its bottom code for pattern definition is also based on shapely.

Shapely library seems a good tool, as its performance in the nannos although it has the problem of inaccuracy perhaps due to the method to built the normal vector field.
