check_spelling() and pkgdown cross references to chapter titles

I encountered a special case where check_spelling() marks a word as spelling mistake and I don't see a solution for it.

In a package vignette I describe different .csv-files from the package, and I use the filenames including the extension as the chapter titles.

e.g. ### `data_taxonmetrics.csv`

Referring to this chapter can be done in pkgdown using #data_taxonmetrics-csv, so by replacing the . (dot) with a - (dash). But when doing so, csv is (seen as a different word and) marked as a spelling mistake. And the advice to add backticks breaks the reference generated by pkgdown:

• #`data_taxonmetrics-csv` does not give any response when clicking on the link
• `#data_taxonmetrics-csv` gives (locally) a 'file could not be found' (most likely a page could not be found online?)

Is there a way to solve this without adding a reference with a different name to each of the chapter titles?

check_spelling() should ignore URL's. The relevant code was updated in #189. Please check if the problem persist with that version.
