How to turn off the auto timeout for the proxy

I noticed that the proxy turns off when the system is idle for some time. Is there a way to keep it going no matter what?

It's a known issue and can't be fixed now. But System proxy is ok.

i noticed that we have to turn it on everytime the computer is unlocked or wakes from sleep. Maybe we can add the feature to auto turn on proxy on wake or unlock

I don't get it. Lux will reconnect automatically when os is woke up, which is expected. What do you mean by auto turn on?

Except that, I think this issue can't be fixed now. When I try to add a feature that allows Lux to keep connected after sleeping in v1.39.0, I found the network is unavailable on os is woke up. It means the network issue is still there.

I noticed that if I disconnect from wifi (moving to another zone) and then connect again, lux doesnt turn on automatically.

It's more like a feature. Lux will disconnect when there is no available network. If Lux keeps connected, users can't connect to another WIFI network. In fact, the root problem is Tun, which has some limitations. But it's for all modes now. We can prevent this for System Proxy mode in future versions.
