No embedded photo taken time

Hello thanks for creating the tool. It was able to extract and sort all photos into monthly albums. However, I’m running into an issue on my Mac: the photo creation/taken time metadata doesn't seem to be embedded in the output files. The correct timestamps aren't reflected in Finder (under Date Modified, Date Created, or Date Added), nor do they appear in the "Get Info" panel (example shown below).
Does anyone know if there is a setting I missed, or a known workaround to preserve or restore this metadata on macOS?
