Spearmint backend

Depends on #2. See the protobuf specification.

We probably want to depend on protobuf and Spearmint being installed to generate the .pb/.pbtxt files, as it will make life a lot easier.

Depending on protobuf and spearmint sounds fine to me, perfectly compatible
with the use case of actually wanting to use the just-created config file
for spearmint.
