CVE-2026-31431 - A local privilege escalation (LPE) vulnerability affecting the Linux kernel has been publicly disclosed on April 29, 2026.

To mitigate the risk, Production runtime image should be upgraded to 9.8

Deliverables

• Upgrade Production runtime image to registry.access.redhat.com/ubi9/ubi-minimal:9.6
• Execute the new build of the software with new image
