Single-file collection

With following configuration:

  - name: links
    path: src/data/links
    type: collection
    filename: "{fields.title}.json"
    format: json
    fields:
    ...

Each item (link) becomes a separate JSON file.
Is there a parameter that would allow me to set path to src/data/links.json, and store them all in a single array JSON?

I see filename being optional, and subfolders parameter, both indicating right direction, but I cant seem to find a setup that works as described.

Make it “type: file”, define the filename to be a static filename (e.g. “filename: my-file.json”) and add “list: true”.

For anyone wondering, following does the job:

content:
  - name: links
    path: src/data/links.json
    type: file
    list: true
    format: json
    fields:
    ...

UI changes from table view to rendering each entry fully, but this is actually nice as it also enables feature of sorting them
