`async-std` has been discontinued, will surf eventually make the switch?

async-std is discontinued, with a suggestion to use smol instead.

wonder will surf eventually remove the async-std dependency, and make the switch?

Or like other async-std depended crates, http-rs/tide#921 will this http-rs/surf also discontinue? noticed this repo has no much development for over 3 years since 2022;
