lost nvenc support after newes auto-update

Hi i use gdownloader almost everyday. but after today's auto-update, the nv-encoder option is no longer available. I used to encode the videos on my nvidia gpu (because fast). now i can only use software encoding (slow) after the newest update.
Solution for now: i have to use a backup from yesterday before the update of today, and set ""AutomaticUpdates" : false," in the file "config.json" to prevent the update that deactivates nvenc.
Is this intended, or can this be fixed with a future update?

Hi! The newest update actually came from FFmpeg 2 days ago.
More specifically, it was this build from GyanD:

Looking through FFmpeg's changelog, I couldn't find any recent changes that would interfere with the way GDownloader interfaces with it:

So I'm thinking this is either a regression on their part, GyanD's build was compiled without NVENC support, or perhaps updating to a newer Nvidia driver (if available) might help, as the most recent change indicates improved compatibility with newer APIs.

Unfortunately, I don't own any NVENC-compatible hardware to debug this issue at the moment, so I'll need to wait for more reports from other FFmpeg users with different setups before I can fully understand where the issue might lie.

If updating your drivers isn't possible or doesn't help, I'll release an update that pins GDownloader to the previous stable FFmpeg version, which should resolve this problem.

thx for the response, i did some more testing. i deleted my old gdownloader folder and started new (made a backup before). after first start and all the updates, i noticed that in the options menu under global settings where i choose the encoder, the auto option and the software option have the nvenc behind it for some reason (seems to be a bug). the nvenc separate options are not there. only software actually works.
then i copied an older version of the FFmpeg files into the new installation (from old Gdownloader\Internal\old\ffmpeg).
After restart, it did not update FFmpeg and the nvenc options where present and working again, the nvenc was no longer merged with the auto and software options. i also copied my old config.json over.
so this confirms for me, something went wrong with the newest version of those FFmpeg builds you mentioned.
So with this "trick" it is working again, and FFmpeg is not updated even if i copied the older version of the files over. it does not seems to be a driver related issue, i have a relatively new version (596.36 studio). hope this helps.
Edit: I do not know if this is important, but i have also installed the regular version of FFmpeg on my system via winget. maybe some conflict? i do not know.

Seems you have fixed it!
Gdownloader updated.
It also updated FFmpeg this time after i restarted again.
But nvenc now works fine like it used to be.
