Undo button can be misleading

When user right-click the command box, there is an undo button.
The user might think that the undo button can undo their previous command (e.g. if they previously delete someone, they can revert the action by clicking the undo button).

However, in this app, the undo button is to undo user's behaviour in the text box (i.e. undo user's typing). This might mislead the user.

Suggestion: Give clear explanation on what the undo button do.

Thank you for your input. We will reject this.
The undo option when you right click is not a feature of our application. In fact, many other application such as chrome will have such a option when you right click on a text input field (e.g. the search bar)

This option is also not available for mac users, as tried by my teammate.

If we were to document every nitty gritty details in our application (even if the feature is not for our application), I believe that would instead hinder the reader / user's experience with our product.

Reason for disagreement: Thank you for reviewing my bug report. However, I respectfully disagree with the rejection for the following reasons:

1. Developer Responsibility for Context Menu

You mentioned that the "Undo" option is not a feature of your application, but this is not entirely accurate.
The automatic options that appear when right-clicking on a text box (e.g., Undo, Cut, Copy, Paste) are collectively referred to as the context menu.
This menu is a built-in feature of JavaFX TextBox components but can be customized or documented as needed.

Moreover, there are cosmetic choices in your code (e.g., color) that influence this context menu, proving that it is not purely system-provided because it is under your control.

These code can be found in your DarkTheme.css, means your team is aware that context menu exists.

Even if it’s not an explicit feature triggered by a user command, it is something users interact with within the application's window. This makes it the developer's responsibility. This is also applicable for every clickable button within the window. Even though they are not explicit command features, developers are still responsible for ensuring they function correctly and documenting them if necessary.

The command box is a JavaFX TextBox, and context menus in JavaFX are customizable. Developers can decide which options appear in the context menu. You chose to leave the context menu in its default state, which includes the "Undo" option. This decision implies a responsibility to handle any consequences of leaving it as-is, including documenting potentially confusing options like "Undo."

2. Incorrect Claim About macOS Availability

The claim that this option is unavailable on macOS is incorrect. This context menu is a JavaFX behavior and is not tied to the system.

The developer seems to be confuse because based on their screenshot, they right-click on the result display box instead of the command box. The result display box does not support typing, so its context menu naturally has fewer options (e.g., "Copy" and "Select All"). In the first sentence of my original report, I explicitly refers to the command box, not the result display box. Therefore, the argument that the "Undo" option is unavailable on macOS is invalid.

I have verified that the "Undo" option is present on macOS system when interacting with the command box. Screenshot attached.

3. Importance of Documenting the "Undo" Button
