Bad interpreter

Hi there,

I downloaded v3.0.0 and execute it:

$ ./nightmare-3.0.0-py3.7.egg --version

However, I get the following error (exitcode 125):

bash: ./nightmare-3.0.0-py3.7.egg: /bin/sh^M: bad interpreter: No such file or directory

The same happens for other options – any ideas?

I cloned the repository and built the egg myself which worked perfectly well.
Afterwards, I compared my egg and the one I downloaded and realized the files in the egg from the release page uses Windows line endings.

That obviously also explains the ^M of /bin/sh^M since this is a common UNIX representation of \r, the carriage-return character.

Workaround

When you run the official egg directly by python, it works:

$ python nightmare-3.0.0-py3.7.egg --version

Hey, sorry for not responding earlier and for the inconvenience. I haven't worked on this in quite some time.
Building the egg on windows always add those pesky CRLFs. Typically I patch them out manually, but last time it seems I have forgotten.

No problem at all – I didn't expect an immediate response. I just wanted to make sure this bug is properly reported.

Ah yeah, that makes sense. The replacement of CRLF to LF should probably be included in the Makefile ;)
And while we are at it, someone might consider replacing Egg with Wheel since eggs are officially deprecated as python tells me when building:

I think that wheels aren't the right tool for what I want to achieve, since wheels are used to install libraries. Since zipapps are now a thing, and nightmare is an application, this should be the way to move forward.

Anyway, thanks for reminding me about the need for migration.
