The application lacks a proper user profile system. As a result, users cannot view or update personal information such as name, gender, or license details. This severely limits personalization and long-term usability.

Key Issues

The user profile system is never mentioned in any of the documentation, and that's intentional. During registration, users are required to provide specific details such as name, gender, and license information. These are not values that typically change every 10–15 days, which is why edit or update access was not prioritized, and the profile system was neither documented nor implemented.

Additionally, the claim about "unlocking relevant features (like offering trips)" is inaccurate. Users can offer trips without providing a driving license, which is why the license field is marked as optional. There are no features gated behind that input, and this design choice is reflected across the project.

Please refrain from using generic assumptions or speculative remarks without thoroughly reviewing the project documentation.

I have mentioned "Edit information, including uploading/updating a driver’s license", for which I do believe the existence of a Profile and Edit Profile is necessary.

It was never part of the original project plan, as I mentioned earlier. The team may have added it later in the SRS document, which I should have checked before the final submission. However, it was not included in the implementation document, so it hasn’t been implemented. Additionally, the use of DL isn't relevant anywhere in the project; it's just optional information. That’s why no edit/update option was provided.

Say when I started using the app I didn't have a DL and now I have a DL and have a trip planned from Place A to Place B in my car (I am the driver), if I want to share the trip, the rider(s) would see that I don't have a DL and wouldn't want to ride. Notice an issue here?

There’s no way for a user to be sure whether the driver is the ride sharer or another person.
