A guide to building a website with a simple backend (possibly Google Docs?)

I would like to use Grow to build simple websites that people with no Markdown knowledge can support. I am looking at the Google Docs preprocessor for now, but there might be a better solution maybe? (Google Docs seems limited. I can't add images, etc...)
