The difference between WinAFL and Jackalope

I built a harness for WinAFL and I’m currently using it with WinAFL. Now I want to use the same harness with Jackalope. Can I reuse it without changing anything in the code?

What I mean is: does Jackalope have the same structure as WinAFL? Since I already built a harness for WinAFL and want to use it with Jackalope, can I do that directly, or will I need to modify it?

I don't see any reason why a harness that works for WinAFL wouldn't also work for Jackalope. Note however that the usage and some of the flags are slightly different in Jackalope vs. WinAFL.

Maybe I didn’t phrase my question correctly, but do I need to use shared memory with Jackalope, or not? Can I just take the same harness, understand the flags and which ones I need for my case, and start?

Shared memory is an optional feature so it's not necessary to use it. However, using shared memory is going to result in better performance.
