Project Description
Currently, global online protest platforms are subject to state censorship. VPP solves this by moving protest infrastructure to decentralized storage layers (IPFS/Filecoin). The MVP will-of-america.net proves that our protocol can retain anonymous, secure voting, ensuring people's voices are kept beyond state physical reach.
Proposed Solution
Upon successful implementation, VPP will be immediately provided to Japan-based human rights networks (LLH) supporting individuals who have moved to Japan and are protesting their home countries' regimes, as well as frontline Myanmar human rights organizations.
VPP implements a Virtual Protest Protocol built entirely on distributed nodes. By combining decentralized storage with p2p networks and serverless edge layers, the platform eliminates censorship risks and data-tracking vectors. It guarantees complete privacy for users, allowing anonymous and permanent digital assembly that no state power can block, shut down, or force data deletion from.
Relevancy to Gitcoin DAO
We believe these concepts are deeply relevant to ongoing discussions within the Gitcoin DAO regarding quadratic funding frameworks, decentralized social coordination, and next-generation decentralized social structures (Plurality) to ensure fair and tamper-resistant resource allocation.
Live Infrastructure & Empirical Validation
To ground this philosophy in empirical reality, we have deployed fully operational infrastructure and web environments demonstrating our core decentralized voting logic and anonymous community mechanics:
Our production environments are heavily fortified; our Cloudflare defense layers recently neutralized over 332 concurrent malicious cyber-attacks without a single millisecond of downtime. This setup is built from the ground up to survive state-level censorship and DDoS tracking vectors.
Official Repositories
The complete philosophy, architecture manuals, and implementation frameworks are documented across our main repositories:
I would be incredibly grateful for your rigorous feedback, criticism, and thoughts.
Sincerely,
Otoya Aizawa
