Description

Commit to a specific Saturday for the event. Playbook target: 2026-10-17. Acceptable window: Q3/Q4 2026 (Sept–Nov).

Why this changed

CLAUDE.md originally said July 2026; the playbook pushed the event back to Q3/Q4 so the build/marketing timeline isn't compressed. All downstream dates in PLAYBOOK.md §6 assume 2026-10-17 and shift uniformly if a different Saturday is picked.

Requirements

• Confirm exact date (default: Saturday 2026-10-17).
• Duration: 1 day, with possible Sunday overflow for breakouts — decide.
• Canonical timezone (pick UTC or US-Pacific, state everywhere).
• Check for clashes with Lean community events, NeurIPS-adjacent calendar, major PL conferences.
• Update CLAUDE.md, README, landing copy, all forms once locked.
