Customizable color theme - Is it possible to use firefox default color instead of chrome colors on tabbar and toolbar?

This is not a bug report. Everything runs pretty well. Thank you for your nice work.

I noticed that the default color theme is currently being changed to the same as the Chrome one. Just wondering will it be possible to go back to the default Firefox color? I saw a lot of color variables defined in global/variables.css and I could manually remove some of them. But what's the best way to do that, or is it possible to make it a customized setting?

Thank you for your interest in the project. I find this to be a tricky issue. A few thoughts:

1. The project is called MaterialFox because it should align with MaterialUI and their understanding of color (https://m3.material.io/styles/color/overview). I found this project much later though and can't tell how much this was or is the case but it would be great to realign it at some point.
2. I forked the project for my personal use (I only use the dark theme) and picked colors that I simply found pleasant for myself.
3. Creating a color palette for a product is not a simple task and changing a color here and there can lead to inconsistencies and an overall unpleasant experience.

All colors in MaterialFox should preferably be derived from just a few base colors. You are correct that most of them are in the variables.css file but I don't know about the purpose of most of them myself. I am in the process of slowly unifying the color variables and the sass language has functions to do so (https://sass-lang.com/documentation/modules/color/) but this still wouldn't allow others to easily change them. That's why I'm hoping for Firefox to soon support CSS functions that can handle color transformations (https://caniuse.com/css-relative-colors and https://caniuse.com/mdn-css_types_color_color-contrast). I can imagine having a customization file at some point that users can copy, rename and edit so that it won't be overridden on updates.

To sum it up, I am putting this issue on a board so that others know that making the colors easier to configure is a goal of this project.
At the moment though I can't give good advice on how to change the colors. If you want to change the colors in the variables.css file then you might need to make those changes again whenever you update MaterialFox. To change the background of toolbar and tabs specifically I'd point you to the variables --lwt-accent-color and --toolbar-bgcolor (They appear multiple times in the file for light and dark theme). I hope this helps a bit.
