The new minor version has a bug fix and 2 new functions for doing things on the sphere! You can now make uniformly random points on the sphere (just random sampling of lon, lat is not enough) and split points into rolling/moving windows of equal area and that wrap around the 360-0 longitude discontinuity (see the animation). Read the release notes for more!
