Speaker assignment not saving when selected from dropdown

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open a transcript
2. Click "Speaker 1" (or similar speaker label) in the message header
3. Select a person from the dropdown menu
4. Menu closes

Expected Behavior

The speaker label should update to reflect the selected person (e.g., "Speaker 1" → "John Doe")

Actual Behavior

The label remains as "Speaker 1" and the selection is not saved

Impact

Users cannot assign speakers to transcript segments, making it impossible to identify who is speaking in multi-participant meetings.
