Widget area up top looks bad with certain widgets

Thoughts on how we can address this? Sometimes people will want search, sometimes they'll want text... any ideas on how to make it easy to style those things differently?

Hmm... I'll sit on it for a bit and see if I can come up with something that will work for all the widgets.
