Syntax highlighting auto-detection for vapi files

I was testing out this plugin today and noticed that vapi files are not getting recognized for syntax highlighting by default.

That's fairly strange, given the fact that the plugin is defined to handle two filetypes, vala and vapi. I'm not sure how I could fix this, ideas are welcome.

Not yet familiar enough with Atom to help unfortunately :( It would be good to confirm first that this isn't just me and that others are experiencing the same thing.
