It seems that the grid parameter has no effect with Textile renderer. Is it a textile issue?
Reproducible example:
options(asciiType = "textile")
I made up a simple matrix:
df <- data.frame(x=1:2, y=3:4)
With grid on:
> ascii(df, grid='all')
|/1\1. |_. x |_. y |
|. 1 |. 1.00 |. 3.00 |
|. 2 |. 2.00 |. 4.00 |
Without grid:
> ascii(df, grid='none')
|/1\1. |_. x |_. y |
|. 1 |. 1.00 |. 3.00 |
|. 2 |. 2.00 |. 4.00 |
Checking the results with and w/o grid setting:
> identical(capture.output(ascii(df, grid='none')), capture.output(ascii(df, grid='all')))
[1] TRUE
