As known from Catena-X, we want to separate SDS information (and supporting product information within scope, like PCN related data) from metadata which is specific to the business case or specific customer. An example in the current XML is ProductNoUser.
This has the advantage that SDS information is clearly separated from communication related data:
- The latter can be omitted when converting the XML schema definition to SAMM for Catena-X
- Exporting systems could prepare XML for a product, then add specific communication info without digging into the XML again.
