Email Confirmation after Registration

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.No issues with Registration but sending confirmation email is advised


What should have happened?
confirmation email should be sent

What happened instead?
no email sent

Can you give us any additional information that could be useful in fixing
this bug?


What release of Stoffi are you using (Xia, Shang or Zhou)?

Actually this was a deliberate choice from me. I don't see the need for sending 
out emails when people register. But please, convince me why it's needed. :)
